Commissioned by Merin, we transformed this space – on an excellent location visible from the A20 highway – to a welcoming and inspiring office lobby. The starting point of the boutique offices that Mulderblauw designs for Merin is to stimulate encounters.
The focal point of the space is the new, visible reception desk. This is where guests can get a good cup of coffee. Creating a variety of seating areas provides possibilities for different types of gatherings.

The area surrounding the dikes that separate Capelle and the IJssel inspired the interior concept. Several elements in the interior design are references to the water, grass, quarry stones and reed from the immediate environment.
