The niu Pax

In the range of hotels that Mulderblauw is developing for the German client Novum Group, a new build hotel will arise close to Berlin Schönefeld Airport.
For this new hotel, “the niu Pax”, we are responsible for the interior design.
The concept of this hotel is creating a beacon of tranquillity (Pax) for its guests. The interior design is inspired by luxurious first class travel as seen in the sixties. We recreated the feeling of a warm and pleasant first class lounge, referring to the airport located nearby.
A peaceful look and feel is established by a pastel colour palette and soft and comfortable fabrics. Copper accents, exposed concrete and white marble give contrast to the design, and make it a sophisticated whole.
