A shared courtyard and similar materials on the upper floors connect the existing and new volumes. The units are intended for young professionals in the Leiden region.

Commissioned by Stichting Huisvesting Werkende Jongeren, we designed a tower with 34 residential units, 12 residential units in the plinth, and an addition to the existing building.
process
A noteworthy feature of this project is that the construction partners work in a BIM model, a virtual prototype of the building in which information is available to all parties and always up to date. This allows for integral collaboration, and construction errors can be excluded at an early stage.
