Mulderblauw architecten is a young agency with history. In 1989 Hans Bik started his own agency, called Architektenburo Hans Bik BV. Robert Mulder joined the agency in 1995. Hans saw in Robert the architect with whom he wanted to enhance and continue the office. In 1998 Robert joined the board as director of Bik+Mulder Architecten BV. After the departure of Hans in late 2007, the firm name changed to Mulderblauw architects BV.
The following projects were realised under the name Bik+Mulder Architecten: Materiaaldienst Amsterdam, Grotekerksbuurt Dordrecht and Leiden Tweelingstraat.
